Kentucky, Lexington, Northern Bank of Kentucky, $1, Sept 12?, 1856, payable "at their Branch Bank in Barboursville...", stamped "CANCELLED" three times with a piece of the note pinned to the face before it was stamp cancelled, this is a very rare genuine note that was redeemed by the bank, unfortunately it's in pretty rough condition as seen in scan, fair.
