Charlotte, Columbia and Augusta Rail Road Company 10 (Dollars), October 1, 1873, great train vignette at center, printed by American Bank Note Co., signed by C Bouknight and John B Palmer (prominent CSA officer), actually worded as a "Fare Ticket" to circumvent Federal laws that prohibited railroads and others from issuing currency, this note circulated as $10 and was "Good for the fare of Two Passengers one hundred miles"... nice very fine.
