California, San Francisco, Miners Bank of Savings of Alta-California, 50 Cents, Aug 10, 1853, #18763, the serial number, date and signature of Solomon Smith are likely falsely filled in, payable "IN GOLD DUST", and possibly the only obsolete note with this payment clause, missing two right corner tips, otherwise fine.
